The Webinar

EDT&Partners is hosting a special online edition of SEN’s Teacher Meets Tech about the importance of oral language for children’s continued success in school.

Language development is a critical foundation for education and is emerging as one of the areas worst hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Description

In this fireside chat, we’ll speak with Professor Charles Hulme, Emeritus Professor of Psychology in Education at the University of Oxford and Professor of Psychology at Oxford Brookes University.

We’ll discuss what schools can do to ensure they are putting in place tools to identify children with potential weaknesses in their language development early. Additionally, we’ll delve into how to create programs to ensure that a language-rich environment is at the heart of early years programs.
